RULE No. 37 – COURT SECURITY

The Stow Municipal Court is charged with dispensing justice, resolving disputes and protecting the constitutional rights of those who appear before the court and recognizes that appropriate levels of security must exist in the Court for the safety of those who visit the court and those who work therein. No weapons or other contraband are permitted to be carried into the courthouse by any person not actively engaged in performing their duties as a law enforcement officer. By entering the court, all persons consent to a search of their person and items in their possession. All visitors and employees of the court shall follow the directives of court security personnel at all times. Failure to do so may result in charges of contempt.
