The couple must first obtain a marriage license from the Summit County Marriage License Bureau, located at the Probate Court of Summit County.
Marriage appointments are scheduled by contacting the Judges’ office. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee that is to be paid prior to scheduling the wedding. Wedding may not be rescheduled.
You will receive a confirmation of your wedding date at the time of scheduling. On your scheduled wedding day, the couple will report to the Judge’s courtroom that is indicated on your paperwork at least one-half hour before the scheduled time for the wedding. Make sure to bring your packet from Summit County containing your marriage license with you.
