The Clerk’s office is the public’s gateway to the Court system.
The Ohio Revised Code requires the Clerk of Courts to maintain all the records of the Court and make them available to the public. In addition, the Clerk collects all fines and fees and distributes them to the appropriate local governments and funds.
The Clerk of Stow Municipal Court also has the power to administer oaths, take affidavits, including those for unpaid costs, process subpoenas, and approve all bonds.
The Office of the Stow Municipal Clerk of Courts shall act efficiently, consistently, and impartially in the public interest to ensure the integrity of and access to the judicial system.
